Every 1 minute there is a road accident .1 death in less than 4 minute.138258 people die every year. Every year around 4.90 lac road accidents. More than 5 lac people get injured many of them become disabled for rest of their lives.

Unless more comprehensive action is taken, the number of deaths and injuries shall rise significantly.
The human and economic damage caused by road crashes in largely preventable. Lack of knowledge and awareness regarding road traffic rules and regulations, violation of traffic rules, flaws in road design and engineering along with driver behavior, can be overcome with concerted effort.

As the road users error is believed to be a factor about 82.4 % of all road accidents improving road user behavior should always be priority with the ability to educate and influence the general public, road safety campaign are needed.

The organization’s road safety programs are conducted with the objective of educating and influencing road users about basic road safety behavior, norms, rules & regulations.

We know that things can change & we believe that the significant majority of roads users will find relief with proper traffic management, positive messages & appropriate encouragement.

Our Endeavour is to provide training, improve driving skills, bring matters to general public and help people to fight for their rights, So that they don’t just miss their flights & trains but also their lives that are wasted mostly on the roads.

We do not underestimate the difficulty of the task, especially in Kashmir with heavy traffic. But with the help of common man and authorities and concerned person should achieve this as we are committed to doing just that.
Life on road came into existence after years of in-depth research by its founder Shaahid Khan. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering has a wide range of experience in the same sector. His 8 years work experience in DMRC made him realize how much Kashmir needed to do and work upon in the road safety sector.

Life on road is a trust with the vision of future where no one is killed on roads and the injury rate should get reduced drastically.

We believe that no death on roads should be acceptable. Use of the roads whether it be , by walking, cycling, riding, or driving should not carry the injury and death risk..
